Apply to Adopt

For pets listed by owners or shelters on Pawsitive Placements, create a free account and submit an adoption application. For partner rescue listings sourced via RescueGroups.org, continue on the source organization's website instead.

Verification (If Required)

Some pet owners require identity verification (government ID + selfie via Stripe Identity). If needed, you'll complete a secure check (optional, small fee paid through Stripe).

Review & Selection

The pet owner reviews applications and selects a match for their pet. You'll be notified of the decision.

Meet & Adopt

Arrange a meeting with the pet owner. If it's a good match, complete the adoption and welcome your new family member!
